Welcome

It is a privilege to introduce you to Queen Elizabeth II Primary School on behalf of our dedicated staff and wonderful children. At QEII, we proudly say we are “more than a school” a vibrant community where every child is at the heart of all we do.

Our guiding motto, “Kind Hearts, Brave Minds, Bright Futures,” reflects the values we live by every day. We believe kindness builds a caring community, courage empowers our pupils to embrace challenges and a commitment to learning opens doors to limitless possibilities. Together, these principles shape confident, compassionate learners who are ready to make a positive difference in the world.

Set in an enriching rural environment, QEII offers a safe and welcoming space where children thrive academically, socially and emotionally. We are passionate about providing high-quality teaching and a broad, balanced curriculum enriched with outdoor learning, creativity and technology. Our aim is to nurture individual talents, encourage curiosity and develop resilience, helping every child become a confident individual and a kind human being.

Our website offers a glimpse of life at QEII but nothing compares to experiencing our school in person. We warmly invite you to visit us and see for yourself what makes our school family so special. Please contact our office to arrange a visit. We would love to welcome you.

Mr Christopher Nesbitt
(NPQH, NPQEL)

🎶 Celebrating Our Talented Musicians! 🎶 A huge well done to all of our musicians who have worked so hard throughout the year with Miss Dunn. To celebrate a superb year of music, they gave a wonderful performance to the whole school. Thank you, Miss Dunn, for your hard work and encouragement.
Thank you everyone for your kind donations towards our final Cash for Clobber collection. 👕 👚 ♻️
What else would you want on a hot summer’s day? ☀️ After lunch we spent some time outside and enjoyed an ice lolly with our friends 🚀
A huge thank you to Stephen McClintock for his dedicated service as a school governor as he steps away from this role. His support and commitment to our school community have been greatly appreciated and we are grateful for all he has done. We would also like to thank Stephen for his generous parting gift of providing every child in the school with a copy of one of Colin Tinsley’s books. This thoughtful gesture is greatly appreciated and will be enjoyed by all our pupils. Thank you, Stephen, and best wishes for the future!
We were delighted to host our Father’s Day Breakfast today. 🌭 A special thank you to the PTFA for organising and running the event. It was a great morning. The children were thrilled to be able to spend some time with their favourite people, present them with cards and sneak a cake or two.
